Welcome to The Friends of OLSM
The Friends of OLSM is a welcoming group of volunteers who regularly meet to organise and run a variety of fun, social events throughout the school year. Our aim is to raise funds to provide the school with many extras and experiences that would not otherwise be available from the school’s annual budget. However, we are not all about raising money, if you are new to the school it can be a great way of getting to meet other parents and becoming involved in the local community.
In the recent very well attended AGM meeting, new committee members were appointed. OLSM would like to thank the outgoing committee who have worked so enthusiastically and energetically to raise funds and welcome families into the school, over many years. We would especially like to thank Jo Shooter, Kit Brouns, Jen Chandler and Mandy Kromrei. You have been so appreciated.

OLSM Easy Fundraising
For anyone who does any internet shopping, a really easy way to support us is by registering with ‘easyfundraising’. A huge list of retailers (Ebay, Amazon, supermarkets, department stores and holiday booking websites) donate money to the school if you simply do your shopping via the ‘easyfundraising’ website. It doesn’t cost you any extra and it can quickly add up to huge donations for the school.
Here is a quick guide:
1. Click on www.easyfundraising.org.uk
2. Search for “Friends of OLSM” in the ‘CAUSE’ box and press ‘search’
3. Comes up with the Friends of OLSM details – tick on the ‘Support this cause’
4. It will ask you to register
5. Once logged in you go to the main page and can start shopping!
If you shop on your phone you can download an easyfundraising App from the App store or google play to create a quick link.
