Shwmae! The year 5 team are Mr Anderson, Mrs Ward and Mrs J Jones

We are having a wonderful year working with the brilliant children in year 5; they are teaching us as much as we are teaching them and we are so proud of the kind, creative and enthusiastic people they are. The year 5 classroom is always a vibrant and interesting place to be. We encourage every child in the class to be the best version of themselves, valuing and celebrating differences and promoting independence in learning.  We support the children in exploring what it means to have a positive mindset, the courage to give everything a go and the resilience to accept and learn from failure as well as success. We value kindness above all else, as the children try to live out the Catholic values of our school.

Meet the team!

Mr Anderson loves the moutains of Wales and spends lots of time walking in them. He  also enjoys reading about welsh history and cooking esocailly Italian cuisine. Mr Anderson is passionate about the outdoors and using the natural environment to support children's learning and experiences. 

When Mrs Ward isn't working, she loves spending time with her family walking in the beautiful mountains and taking her grand-dog, Reggie, with her. She also loves to do Pilates as she is trying to get fit.  Mrs Ward has started listening to podcasts which she is really enjoying. Whenever she gets the chance, Mrs Ward really enjoys meeting up with family and friends to laugh and share a meal together.
