Shwmae! The year 4 team is Mrs M Rose and Mr Meek

We are delighted to be working with our incredible year 4 learners. With our Catholic values underpinning everything we do, love and respect for ourselves and each other is at the heart of the classroom, in all our daily actions.  We  want every child in our class to feel happy  and safe.  Our team works hard to support learners growth in maturity and independence and confidence,knowing the satisfaction and reward that comes from doing their best and seeing the results of their efforts, proud of what they have achieved- becoming self motivated, lifelong learners. It is also mportant to us to nurture their natural curiosity,  develop their ways of thinking around a problem, devop their group work and collaboration, exploring the fantastic world we live in and how we can look after it  and take moments to reflect along the way and to appreciate and be glad. 

Meet the team!

Outside of school, Mrs Rose enjoys spending time out in the fresh air enjoying all the beautiful things nature brings with  each new season. Some of her favourite things to do with her family is to go for walks-strolling in the parks, beside the wetlands or along the canal and spending time on the incredible beaches of Wales, paddling in the sea and having sandy picnics. Mrs Rose also loves reading, pottery and creating works of art [for fun- as she says she is not very good at it!] sewing [making something from recycled bits and pieces], embroidery, baking and lots of things tech related. 

Mr Meek is very musical. He loves music and plays some instruments including the guitaras well as some celtic ones. He loves Pokemon and gaming and loves to swim in the sea.
