Shwmae! The reception class team are Mrs Elias and Mrs Vaughan.

Reception is such an exciting year and we thrive on ensuring the children have diverse and rich learning experiences. Here in Reception we value our children, steering their learning journey, which is why on a weekly basis they recap on the skills they have explored and use this, along with their interests, to drive the focus of planning for the following week. We pride ourselves on providing a nurturing learning environment that supports every child to reach their full potential. 

Meet the Team!

Mrs Elias enjoys reading and going to the cinema and going for long walks with her family. She is an active member of OLSM parish and is proud to lead the Sacramental preparations for First Holy communion. Mrs Elias is also passionate about the Welsh language and is a fluent Maltese speaker. 

Mrs Vaughan has experience working within a Reception classroom for 8 years. Within that time she has also worked for GEMS team supporting children who were new to the English language, helping them to settle into a new school environment through the use of their first language. In her spare time Mrs Vaughan enjoys hiking, cooking and spending time with her friends.
